tour guide

Luke and MeLuke (friend I haven't seen since the day we graduated college) and his friend made it in late last night. We rehashed old times and gave each other updates on where everyone is and what they're doing while drinking beers (and tequila) at the Latin American Club. Highlights include: a film student, a marketing manager, a bar manager, a gym teacher, a couple of med students, an NSA math genius who doubles as a musician about to record his first CD, a failed restauranteur turned Target manager, and an environmentalist. Nobody is married, but some are heading down that path with warp speed. Scary.

Today, despite the remnants of a tequila headache, we played tourists and hit up the Golden Gate Bridge, drove through the park, stopped by Fisherman's Wharf, and went thrift store shopping in the Haight. Too tired to do anything else, we came home and watched Reality Bites - a really, really good late-Sunday-afternoon-too-tired-to-do-anything-else type movie. It's funnier than I remember.
